Here are some variations. Having looked at various examples of illuminated stands, it seems the most eye-catching are darker ones with light elements - so if we go for a dark background, in theory the text, logo and elements should really jump out and look illuminated.

So maybe we should avoid white or light backgrounds? - it may be they are too bright. Hard to tell without seeing it for real. The examples shown on the supplier website have dark backgrounds.
